I love going to country music concerts and I can usually be found at a concert most weekends in the summer. I also love going to Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres games. My friends and I love to go to the games and concerts early and cook out and sing and dance. It is my favorite thing to do when the weather is nice. It gives me a great opportunity to spend time with my great group of friends. My fiance and I have a black lab named Trooper. Trooper means the world to me. He is almost 4 years old and he is still very full of energy. He loves to swim and play fetch. Trooper really is my best friend; he is always happy to see me when I come home. Trooper is a handful, but he is the sweetest dog I have ever known.
This is a picture of my grandmother and I. She passed away 4 years ago at only 60 years old. My grandmother was sick with COPD from smoking most of her life. She lives on in my heart and I miss her every single day. My grandma had the best sense of humor and she kept us laughing right up until the day she passed away. She had been ill for as long as I can remember, but the few months before she passed away, we knew it was coming to an end. I was able to say goodbye to her and she told me to be a good girl, and to have a fun life. Those words linger in my head and help me through. My mom, aunt, and myself had tattoos done that say "this to shall pass", my favorite piece of advice she ever gave me. Anytime I am in a difficult situation, my grandma's wise words are spoken in my mind.
